Ultimate Vengeance
ULTIMATE VENGEANCE by Nancy Haviland
I don’t even know where to begin with this review. Ultimate Vengeance by Nancy Haviland is nothing short of a work of torturous perfection. I will be the first to admit that I wasnt sure I was going to like Alek. He just didn’t seem gangster enough for me the first couple novels. WOW! I was so wrong.
Alekzander Trasov is one of the co-founders of TarMor industries. He is super wealthy, well connected and part of a deadly family. On the outside he has it all. To those that know him they know he is missing a big part of his heart and soul that he forced away from him months ago.
Sacha Urusski came to America from Russia looking for a new life. What she found was a dangerous man that worshipped the ground she walked on, until he didn’t. Alek broke Sacha in the worst possible way.
Now after learning to live without Alek, she stumbles right back into his life. Alek isn’t letting her go this time no matter what lies between them. Including her new man and a huge secret she hides.
That’s not all that’s stopping them though. Big problems are about to explode for the powerful Bratva that will destroy bonds, and bring those closest to the Russian mobsters reeling in loss and pain. Can this love survive all that is coming for them?
I cannot sing enough praises for Ultimate Vengeance. This book captured me from line one, seriously. It never let up. I will say from the beginning you knew Alek and Sacha were going to make their way back to each other. It is the in between that kills you. My heart constricted so many times. There are a lot of loose ends tied up in this book which scares me because that means almost all of our original boys are coming to a closure.
There is follow up with previous members Gabe, Maks, Vincente, and Vasily. Ohhhhh Vasily!!! We get closure with the spy in the group and man it will blow you out of the water with how deep the deception goes. There is a MAJOR cliffy at the end but it wont spoil the book. Only makes you want to get on your knees and beg Ms. Haviland to stop the torture already!
The MC makes a nice cameo in Ultimate Vengeance too,and man all I can say is I will go ahead and be the cheese in that Vex/Vasily sandwich please! Those are two bad azz men!
I say this everytime I review her novels but seriously this was by far my favorite…so far. Do not miss Ultimate Vengeance !!!!

Steele Jackals Book 1
I came across a picture of this book cover and fell in love with it. Now if you know me, you know I am a total cover whore and will buy any book with a great cover. So, being the assertive (insert wink) reader that I am, I emailed the author to see if she would be kind enough to allow me to review it prior to release. She was kind enough to let me. So here we go...
Tish has had one hell of a childhood. Her mother is a strung out drug addict that would rather get her fix than put food on the table. Tish ends up always being the parent in this relationship, cleaning up after her mothers binges, making excuses to her school and the authorities.
Tish's saving grace comes in the form of an Uncle she never met and his MC club.
Enter golden eyed giant Josh Sylvan aka The Guardian. Josh is going to make sure Tish's life gets a little normalcy and happiness. Until the day the police come to take Josh away. Accused of a crime he takes the rap for Tish's deadbeat mother hoping she would step up and take care of her daughter while he was away.
No such luck.
Here is where the juicy stuff starts. Three years later guess who is out of prison? Yep that big bodied hunk Josh is home. Tish has waited for this man for what seems like forever. She is hopelessly in love with him and plans on making him hers.
Keep in mind here Josh is quite a bit older than Tish but she is of consenting age when things get dirty. There is a lot of dirty in this novel too. Josh is one pent up horny alpha who gets a little silly at the thought of other people being intimate with Tish.
Tish is so naiive it can be a little too much at times. I thought the book had lots of sex but little story. There are bits and pieces of a bigger story but we dont get to delve into that with this book. But good lord some of the things he says to her will melt the words right off your ereader.
I feel like the story is just out of reach and maybe with the next book we will really get slammed with emotion and angst. Book 1, aside from a crappy childhood, wasnt gritty enough for me. The series has potential though. Looking forward to alot more dirt to come out with number two.

More sexy Russian mobsters!!
Ms. Haviland has scored a winner with this book!
Sydney Martin: mysterious blonde Aussie that Maks wants under him bad. She is confident and keeps Maks at arms length, something he isnt used to at all. When trouble comes right to Sydneys front door the only man she can trust is the one she is most afraid of. Asking Maksim for help might just be her downfall, because the man is seriously tempting.
Maks is master of his world and he likes it that way, but Sydney has thrown him. She has more secrets than he can figure out and that is something foreign to him because he can find anything on anyone. Sydney has her reasons for the secrets but can Maksim and the boys get her to divulge them before it costs them or her their lives?
While all that is going on somebody very close to the Tarasov crew is betraying them. Finding their weakest links, their loved ones, and striking out at them.
I would read anything Nancy writes. At this point she has me completely hooked. Her characters are well thought out and she has brought more of them to the forefront with Obsession. Vasily, the leader, has stolen my heart. Lorenzo's story line just floored me and I am begging for more of him. The previous couples are in the story and its so nice to get some follow up in their lives. Micha is very present in Obsession and man, when he falls its gonna be hard. I can not wait. This story had so many twists and turns it kept me on my toes. Great writing by Ms. Haviland for sure.
Its getting hot for the Tarasov Clan - can they stop the inferno waiting to consume them?

Russians and and Bikers...OH MY!!!
So here is yet another author I had never heard of but have completely fallen in love with her world!
Nancy Haviland's Wanted Men series is something you want to jump in and just be a part of. The Salvation of Vengeance is Vincente and Nika's story. Number two in the series, but dont let that deter you. I was able to pick this book up, and since Ms. Haviland is so good at weaving a story, barely knew it was a series...but I hoped!
Ok so Salvation hooks you right from the start. Our heroine Nika is in a horrid marriage with a seriously abusive all around jerk. Well why does she stay, you ask yourself...good question-the answer is the damming video evidence hubby has on her beloved brother. Her only living family. He also happens to be the VP of an MC. (hoping to see some stories on this group of hotties too.) Nika will do everything to protect those she loves and she proves this time and time again in this book. Nika is mearly biding her time until she can get her hands on that video.
Her moment comes when her best friend asks her to be in her wedding. The daughter of a Russian mob boss marrying the Italian mob boss, Gabriel. Things are bound to be steamy right!? Gabriels right hand man Vicente, successful, handsome, haunted and deadly has taken an interest in Nika but his past and her being married prevents him from pursuing any kind of normal future ever.
When Nika finally gets the evidence its only a matter of time before a violent and extremely pissed off husband comes looking for her. Now Vin is going to have to come face to face with his past and move forward if he wants a future with the woman who heats his blood like no other.
I could divulge this whole story but I wont-because seriously- you have GOT to pick up this book!
Ms. Haviland's work hooks you right from the start. I seriously could not put ths book down. I read it all night and then on my lunch break just to finish. There was not a dull moment. Beyond the action was the back story. You really felt like you knew these characters. Like you could walk through the door and be welcomed into the family. Yeah they are violent at times, yeah your moral compass goes a little wonky at the lifesyle, but oh man the love, and loyalty totally overlooks all that.
Vin took a long time making a decision but he stole my heart at every turn. The supporting cast had me so hooked I stopped reading to go check her website to make sure all my other faves were going to get a story. By God they are, and I cannot wait!
Anything I didnt like? Well aside from the abusive situations, that were pretty horrific but completely needed for the story, no.
I am hooked on this family! Very well written and I am a fan for life!

The Club !!
This is the first in a series by Jenna Elliot and boy does it start out HOT! Meet Ethan-uber sexually confident totally hot tattooed male. He knows what women want and is happy to give it to them but they better not get attached because that is a hard limit for him. He will walk away faster than you can beg him to flog you. Ethan has demons that haunt him from his past that he won't let go.
Hellloooooo tortured hero, hot man with tats and a Dom ...😍
Onto our heroine Mia. Mia is desperate to escape the suffocating life her unloving parents have created for her. They have chosen the perfect career, the perfect fiancé and control all the finances. When she has a minor accident who comes swooping in but not so perfect Ethan. Mia is something different for Ethan and that scares him. I was rooting for our girl to conquer this bad assed Dom the entire book. There is one point in the book my heart just ached for Mia and I was so pissed at Ethan but isn't that what makes a story so great?! Some BDSM is part of this book but pretty light I mean we are talking about a BDSM club when the title says "The Club".
I am telling you this story just took off. Totally hot characters that are really well developed I just got sucked in and could not put this book down. My only complaint was it ended too abruptly. I wanted a little more closure with a few issues but maybe they will come in books two and three. BTW we meet the characters of the sequels and let me say Ace is calling my name! I can't wait to read more.
